Mrs. Minnie Livengood, a lifelong resident of the Ingersoll neighborhood SE of Hillsboro, died in Culver hospital in Crawfordsville at 5:40 Monday Jan. 7. Mrs. Livengood suffered a stroke last Wednesday. She was born Aug 28, 1875, in Montgomery County the daughter of James and Miria Livingston Wilkinson. On August 1, 1894 she was married to Livengood. Mrs. Livengood was a member of the Ingersoll Chapel Christian Church until it disbanded 4 years ago. She then became a member of the Waynetown Christian Church. She was a past worthy matron of the W. EOS; a charter member of the FLower Lovers Club and member of the Pi Mui club, both of Wayentown. Surviving in addition to the husband are two brothers, Joseph of Greensburg and Alonzo Wilkinson of Evansville, and several nieces ansd nephews. Two infant sons preceded Mrs. Livengood in death. Rev. John Servies of Crawfordsville conducted the funeral service which was held at the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home in Wayentown. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. - transcribed by kbz
